The SAM BASIC^TM manikin engages the technology of the SimScope^TM stethoscope to simulate adult heart, lung, and bowel sounds utilizing a large sounds library.

The optional SimScope WiFi^TM upgrade (ELU7183415) enables wireless communication between the Simscope^TM and SAM BASIC trainer, allowing users to change sounds remotely or to use in conjunction with a scenario-based simulation.
