Patient Alarm Replacement Unit, for 2143/2144TRUE

• AliMed Patient Alarm/Transmitter Unit Use with bed, chair and floor sensors. The patient unit has 3 available alarm volume settings: low (90 dB), high (100 dB) and silent when used with nurse call stations. Alarm features a hold function that enables the caregiver to remove the patient from bed or chair without activating the system. Use with sensor pads, or floor exit or mat devices alone, or combine the remote receiver unit to hear alarm outside the doorway or in another location. Assigning sensor types is simple: switch the dip switches located behind the battery cover. An AC adapter can be purchased separately if there is concern about battery drain. The alarm activates when the following situations occur: weight is removed from bed or chair sensor pad, or weight is detected on the floor mat or exit mat.
