• The specimen is collected directly into a 50mL shatter-resistant conical tube through a funneled collection bay
• Then, a recloseable collection flap seals off the collection end to prevent contamination
• The hinge design of the collection funnel allows the clinician to attach the screw cap to the conical tube without touching the top of the specimen tube or the cap
• The specimen tube can then be detached and used for digestion, decontamination, or centrifugation
• Tubes withstand up to 3500rpm
