  • Highly absorbent, soft and conformable, these dressings are indicated for the treatment of moderate to heavily exudating wounds and deep wounds that may also be infected
  • Calcium alginate fibers react with wound exudate or blood to form a hydrophilic gel that creates a moist wound environment; superior absorption extends wear time to up to 7 days, and dressing changes are easy to do without disturbing granulating tissue
  • Ideal for draining wounds, as they reduce the risk of maceration to surrounding skin
  • Sterilized by electron beam sterilization and must not be resterilized
  • Indicated for the treatment of the following wounds: pressure ulcers, postoperative wounds, venous ulcers, skin donor sites, arterial ulcers, second-degree burns, and diabetic ulcers
