  • Used for the prevention of recurrent pulmonary embolism via placement in the vena cava in the following situations: Pulmonary thromboembolism when anticoagulant therapy is contraindicated; Failure of anticoagulant therapy in thromboembolic diseases; Emergency treatment following massive pulmonary embolism where anticipated benefits of conventional therapy are reduced; and Chronic, recurrent pulmonary embolism where anticoagulant therapy has failed or is contraindicated
  • Set consists of the following items: Preloaded filter introducer, coaxial introducer sheath system, hydrophilic coated dilator and three-way stopcock
  • Filter may be retrieved according to the Instructions for Use in the section labeled "Optional Retrieval Procedure"; retrieval of the filter can be performed only by the jugular approach
  • Filter is introduced and placed via an 8.5 Fr coaxial introducer sheath system
  • Supplied sterile in peel-open packages; intended for one-time use
