DEROYAL Dermanet Antimicrobial Wound Contact Layer

• Dermanet is a non-adherent contact layer to protect burns, graft sites, donor sites and other wounds. It can be coated witha topical ointment, cut to size, and then wrapped around a burn before affixing the chosen dressing. Since Dermanet doesnot absorb the topical ointment, the ointment stays on the burn site longer for more effective treatment. If the open methodof burn treatment is practiced, Dermanet can still be used as a carrier to deliver the topical medications to the burn. Thiswould protect the granulating tissue while still maintaining a free flow of air to the site. Dermanet is available in pre-cutsheets and rolls.
