• Dressing forms gel-like covering over wound and helps maintain a moist environment for wound healing; silver alginate dressing has broad spectrum antibacterial properties, and helps protect against microorganisms such as MRSA, VRE and fungi for up to 7 days
• Indicated for moderately to heavily exuding partial to full thickness wounds, including: trauma wounds, pressure injuries, diabetic ulcers, venous leg ulcers, and post-operative surgical wounds
• Dressings can be used as a secondary cover for the Silver Alginate Dressing Pad
• Designed for children, athletes, older adults, and people with sensitive, fragile, or thin skin
• Recommended to be left in place for 3 days, can remain for up to 7 days; frequency of dressing change depends on the amount of drainage
