The GraviFeed primer replaces the push-and-pull of a plunger syringe in gravity enteral feeding: it creates positive pressure directly, so a feed can be started and vented without a nurse working a plunger through the whole delivery. A built-in TwistLok connection guards against accidental disengagement and misconnection between the feeding tube and syringe — the failure mode that matters most in enteral delivery. The snap-tight sealable lid keeps airborne contaminants out and prevents the loss of expressed milk or formula, and a hydrophobic filter in the lid lets air escape during post-feed venting while holding enteral fluid in. Reusable, so cost per feed falls with use.
