The Integra Lifesciences External CSF Drainage System Drain, Ext, Sys, Accudrain, 8IN is specified for demanding clinical and facility environments. Designed for draining cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) from the ventricles of the brain or the lumbar subarachnoid space to a drainage bag for sampling and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring. Specifications include latex-free materials.

Key Features

• Typically used for patients with a severe head injury, Reyes syndrome or similar encephalopathies, hydrocephalus, hydrocephalic shunt infections and intracranial hemorrhage, as well as for preoperative/postoperative monitoring.
• Transparent graduated burette for seeing the flow and the clarity of the CSF, and for volumetric readings prior to the fluid entering the drainage bag.
• Complete with tubing connector with luer connector for connecting the catheter to the drainage system.
• Can be used with all of the Integra NeuroSciences ventricular and lumbar catheters.
