The SMITH NEPHEW Opsite Flexigrid Transparent Adhesive Film Dressing, 6" x 8", MSPV/Government Only is specified for demanding clinical and facility environments. Transparent, adhesive film with a unique wound measurement grid used to provide a moist wound healing environment for superficial wounds; also ideal for use as a secondary dressing. Specifications include latex-free materials.

Key Features

• Highly extensible and conformable dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days; high moisture vapor permeability allows excess exudate to evaporate, helping prevent skin maceration.
• Resistant to water and body fluids, allowing the patient to bathe without changing dressings; also aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination.
• Flexible carrier enables single handed application allowing the dressing to conform to body contours while transparency enables accurate positioning over wound site; Flexigrid can be easily cut into strips or shapes for application to awkward areas such as heels, elbows and knees.
• Wound measurement grid allows assessments of healing process to be made; after tracing edges of the wound, carrier can be removed and stored in the patient's notes.
