OpSite Transparent Adhesive Film Dressing, 6" x 11"
- Transparent, adhesive film with acrylic adhesive is moisture vapor permeable, conformable and extensible, and helps provide a moist wound environment for superficial wounds; also ideal for use as a secondary dressing
- Provides moisture vapor permeability allowing excess exudate to evaporate, helping to prevent skin maceration
- Dressing can be left in place for up to 7 days, helping to minimize interference at wound site and reduce nursing time
- Resistant to water and body fluids, allowing the patient to bathe without changing dressings
- Adaptable for use on all areas of the body, dressing can be easily cut into strips or shapes for application to awkward areas such as heels, elbows and knees
- Indicated for catheter fixation; use as a secondary dressing; and the management of superficial wounds, such as shallow pressure sores, minor burns, cuts, and abrasions
