• Barbs evenly distribute tension to improve both security and speed, and the helical barb pattern maximizes tissue grab and hold.
• German-engineered needles offer superior sharpness, penetration and strength to make wound closures cleaner and more efficient.
• PDO (polydioxanone) material is indicated for use in general soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, but not for use in cardiovascular or neurological tissues, microsurgery or ophthalmic surgery.
• Absorption pattern: PDO retains up to 90% of its tensile strength by day 14, up to 82% by day 28 and up to 79% by day 42, and is essentially absorbed between 180 and 220 days.
